Mosaic Forum

Paris

October 2025

The sixth MOSAIC Forum took place in Paris, hosted by Lysios Public Affairs under the leadership of Jean-Luc Archambault, bringing together public affairs and government relations professionals from across the globe.

Day 1 opened with welcoming remarks by Jean-Luc Archambault and set the stage for substantive discussions on transatlantic economic relations and Europe’s positioning between the United States and China. Further sessions addressed compliance challenges in global public affairs beyond formalized transparency regimes, drawing on perspectives from the OECD and European professional associations. The day concluded with exchanges on geopolitical uncertainty and economic outlooks in a fragmented international environment.

Day 2 continued with discussions on the implications of regional conflicts for public affairs work and perspectives from Latin America on lobbying and network cooperation. A dedicated session on artificial intelligence in public affairs moved beyond hype, focusing on how AI can be embedded into workflows, knowledge management, and organizational routines to generate real strategic value. The forum closed with updates on the MOSAIC network, including plans to deepen cooperation in Latin America, and the announcement that the next MOSAIC Forum will take place in Cairo in 2026.

With contributions from practitioners, policy experts, and multinational companies, the Paris Forum once again highlighted the MOSAIC network as a trusted space for open, practice-oriented exchange among public affairs professionals.

Washington, D.C.

May 2025

The fifth Mosaic Forum convened in Washington D.C. from May 21–24, 2024, under the auspices of Oracle, uniting leading public affairs and government relations practitioners from around the globe. The event opened with a welcome reception at Oracle’s Georgetown townhouse, graciously hosted by Matis Pelerin and his team, setting the tone for two intense days of discussion.

Day 1 opened with big-picture conversations on how public-affairs practice is shifting in the United States during this administration and how freedom-of-speech norms diverge worldwide - crucial context for any professional in global governmental affairs.

The afternoon dug into AI’s fast-growing role in Public Affairs and Government Relations before we moved to maybe the most exciting sector at the moment: Defense. With Europe finally getting serious about defense spending, gathering international views on strategy and political positioning is more important than ever. The evening brought networking over a conference dinner graciously sponsored by General Motors.

On Day 2, we tackled the live issue area of trade policy, then examined how the Mosaic network can collaborate on joint initiatives through two case studies of successful projects, illustrating practical pathways for ongoing cooperation.

In an interactive session with Caelesta Braun, Professor of Public Governance and Civil Society at Leiden University, the discussion centered around lobby regulations in different countries and whether the call for transparency had led to a better public debate. The forum also decided to have a session on the impact of artificial intelligence on the work of the public affairs profession at each upcoming forum.
